Start of sampling for the SCANHEALTH project

We have started sampling liquid biopsy donors at the Hospital Centro Médico de Asturias. This is part of the 5-year prospective study within the SCANHEALTH project, which is developing a multi-cancer screening method in a single analysis. The goal is to recruit 3000 donors in 3 years. SCANHEALTH is funded by the AEI (CPP 2024).

Project Funding Approved

On 30 July 2025, following the provisional resolution for the “2024 Public-Private Partnership” call, our project, “Optimization and Validation of SCANHEALTH: a Cost-Effective Infrared Spectroscopy Tool with AI Integration for Multi-Cancer Early Detection in Liquid Biopsies,” has been awarded a grant of €1,387,994.85.
