The IV IUOPA International Symposium “Advances in Molecular Oncology”, held on May 13 and 14 at the Palacio de Congresos in Oviedo, provided a unique opportunity that the SCANHEALTH team did not want to miss: all project partners met for a joint working session.
Representatives of the four institutions that make up the project — Amber Health Solutions, Fundación Centro Médico de Asturias, Fundación para la Investigación Biomédica Hospital Gregorio Marañón and Instituto de Investigación Biomédica Belltvitge — met in Oviedo to review the status of SCANHEALTH. The synergy between the teams is one of the project’s strongest assets.

The IUOPA congress, which in this edition commemorated the 25th anniversary of the University Institute of Oncology of the Principality of Asturias and brought together more than 150 researchers from across Spain and internationally, was the ideal setting for the SCANHEALTH team to also gain visibility in one of the most relevant molecular oncology forums in the country.
